Dr. Chang was educated at Waseda University and the University of Berlin. During the 1920's he proved himself one of the most capable of Chinese philosophers. He later founded a political college at Shanghai. In recent years Dr. Chang has lectured in India, Australia, and at the University of Washington, Seattle. He is considered by both Western and Eastern scholars as a leading authority on the Confucian-thought tradition and has written a number of books in Chinese.
