Description

This book is a collection of poems and poetic thoughts that I have written down over the space of several years. They are all just basic ideas of storytelling, put down in a particular  format that I like to use. I sometimes tend to draw from memories of my childhood upbringing, being the middle child in a family of fifteen children.

During my schoolboy years I loved to memorise all of the poems from my English Reader. I would lose myself in the stories and pictures that they painted inside my little brain. I particularly loved the play on words that some of the poets used. My parents were great storytellers and I would sometimes include these stories in my writings.

In my estimation, poetry books are not great sellers. Most people are given them as Birthday presents or Christmas presents. They look at the front cover and then read the back cover before putting them up on a book shelf to gather dust.  This book is totally different to any other book of its kind, so give it a try, at least read the first few pages.
