The usual mode of printing poetry, is to spin out to a volume what might be compressed in a few pages, so that the purchaser might as well go to the paper-maker at once, and order a certain quantity of his ware, for the book binder. Half blank (in some instances three-fourths) and half letter-press, are the usual features of contemporary publications in verse. I have often amused myself by counting the lines, i. E.
