Its name and history have for ever become inseparably associated with the name and history of Great Britain. The illustrious Prince, whose auspicious union with the most puis sant Queen in the world has given him so splendid a position in the country that has joyfully adopted him, pursued at Bonn, with unwearied diligence and complete suc cess, those liberal and enlightened studies which have so greatly enhanced the innate worth and dignity Of his mind.
