Edmund Bishop for the Tahlet. It is really a mosaic made up of fragments from the Chronicles and other monastic books of the great abbey of Bury St. Ed mund''s. Our design was to produce from the records of an English monastery, which have been described by one of the masters who have taught us, as dull and dead monuments of a buried past, as living a picture as pos sible of a great festival, held in the days when Bury was one of the great centres of religious life in England.
