In 1890, I worked at Paris and I tried to know at first hand the work entitled N ouveau Cynée according to a passage of Leibniz, and which was generally attributed to Emery La Croix or de La Croix. La Croix ap peared, besides, in several biographies. I had the pleasure to be able to read at the Bibliotheque Nationale the little volume entitled, Le N ouvean C yne''e ou discours d''estat représentent des occasions et moyens d''establir une paix généralle et la liberté du commerce par tout le monde. Aux monarques et princes souverains de ce temps. Em. Cr. Par. A Paris, chez 7acques Villery, ou Palais, sur le perron royal. Avec privilege du roy.
