Description
As this book is specially devoted to an exposition of the genealogy of the descendants of one emigrant from the mother country, an introduction thereto might, without impropriety, be omitted, and the work left to tell its own story. But a brief glance at the historical relations of the family in England, and at some other branches of it in the United States, may not be unacceptable to persons not already familiar with the subject.
