It will be understood that the numbers and letters before dates and extracts, as K 398 at the top of p. 89, refer to the numbers of the objects in the British Museum collection, and will enable them to be found in case of reference. I have only to add, that in comparing so many dates, accidental cases of error in the numbers may escape me; but I have tried to check this, and hope that the data will be found reliable throughout.
