This short history can contain only a few of the records of this large family. To Mr. James E. Cory, of Shelby, Ohio, who has spent many years in careful research, is reserved the task of compiling a complete history of this family.
Mr. William M. Robinson, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Judge Charles E. Cory, of Fort Scott, Kan., and Mr. H. T. Cory, of San Francisco, Cal., are also authorities on the history of the family, and to each and all of these gentlemen I wish here to make glad and grateful acknowledgment for their valuable suggestions, gifts of interesting pictures, for their encouraging words, and personal interest in.
