Description

When in 2015 Mr. Leonard Nimoy, the actor who portraited Star Trek's Mr. Spock, died the composer felt a strong personal need to express his emotions in music. The result was this Op. 12 Requiem for Spock, composed for the Vulcan Lyrette (also called Vulcan Harp) and the Earth’s Violoncello (also simply called Cello). Due to the limited availability of the Vulcan Lyrette the composer included an alternative part for the Earth’s Harp. Duration: approx. 5:20
