Welcome to the World of Peckers!
What is 'Peckers'?
'Peckers' is a fun playground role-playing game created by the Primary 5 class of Ferryhill school, P5M. Created entirely from the concept of a member of the class, we have worked hard to draw up concept art, descriptions and game mechanics and have turned these into a game book which teaches others how to play the game. We have used AI to turn our drawings into professional looking pictures for the book, and have written the book ourselves to introduce lots of new children to the game.
In 'Peckers', one player is tasked with taking on the role of a Pecker and attempting to catch and "scratch" the other players. The other players act as the Survivors, whose job is to avoid the Pecker and help heal one another. Peckers get cool abilities and each game has a different rule which can make it more difficult for the Survivors. With these abilities, the Pecker wants to try and get all of the Survivors out before time runs out, while the Survivors want to stay in the game as long as possible by avoiding the Pecker.
Who are the Peckers?
Peckers are a type of animatronic bird created to entertain and amuse humans in the world of 'Peckers'. They were once friendly creatures, but after an evil experiment by their creator they no longer trust humans. The Peckers roam the Earth, hoping to find other Peckers to rescue while fighting off humans, who they are afraid of.
In 'Peckers', there are 25 different Peckers to choose from, as well as 5 Boss Peckers. Each Pecker has information divided over 3 pages to give you a description, their backstory, special abilities, any special rules for playing as them, equipment you might need, their location and a cutscene to introduce them to the players. With all of this, there's hours and hours of fun to be had learning about the different Peckers and playing as each of them.
Who is Peckers for?
'Peckers' is great for children ages 7-11 who love playing games with their friends. It's great for school, parks and playdates and is a great way to fill the time with fun role-playing and thrilling chases. This game encourages teamwork, strategic thinking and creativity.
