Jamie Kennedy thought finding his partner's body was hell! Being haunted by a ghost with unfinished business? Worse.

“Wake the f— up, Jamie! We caught a case and you're already late.”
One eyeball peeled open to see his partner, Michael Donovan, seated on his coffee table. They headed in to work, with their usual stop at Dunkies for coffee and donuts.
It wasn’t until he’d driven away from Dunkies, coffee in hand and Mike in the passenger seat that he remembered. “You’re dead.”
“I know I’m dead. We need to solve my murder,” Mike said.
“But you’re dead.”

His partner might be gone, but he’s not resting in peace. And he’s got a job for Kennedy: find his killer.
But working a case with a ghost comes with complications. How does Kennedy explain the tips? How does he keep his badge when his colleagues think he’s talking to thin air?
The deeper he digs, the messier it gets. Someone wanted Donovan dead.

If Kennedy’s not careful, he’ll be next.

Dead Wrong

A teenage boy is murdered and it’s up to Jamie to solve the case. Well, Jamie, his new partner, Jack, and the ghost of Michael Donovan.
Mike and Noah were seated on the roof of Jamie’s place. Ghosts aren’t usually welcome at barbecues for the living, when not all of the living can see them.
“And you think he can figure out what happened to me?”
Mike turned to look at the teenager that sat beside him. “Noah, I think if anyone’s going to figure it out, it’ll be Jameson Kennedy. But he’s not going to be doing it alone. I’m going to help.”

Noah’s not so sure. A kid in the system doesn’t expect help, even when he asks for it.
“See?” Mike said. “I told you he’d help. That’s what we do. We solve murders. Even though I’m dead now, I still work with the best partner in existence.”
A faint snore drifted up from where Jamie lay across his bed.
“Uh huh,” Noah replied as he eyed Jamie’s half-dressed body sprawled across the top of the blankets. “If you say so.”

Jack and Jamie get their information from unorthodox sources – ghosts.
But they’ve figured out a way to make it look legit, and they’re closing cases in spite of the questions and harassment.
What looked like a simple murder case has become so much more.
Money, politics, power, and ties to the church mean there’s a lot of people who don’t want this murder solved.

With so much at stake, they want Jack and Jamie silenced - permanently.
