Excerpt from Lecture Notes for Chemical Students, Vol. 1: Inorganic Chemistry
The contents of this little book are t. A great extent a transcript of the notes of my course of lectures on inorganic chemistry delivered at the Royal College of Chemistry; these notes having been considerably amplified only in the earlier Chapters, on nomenclature, notation, and the atomicity of elements.
These notes were originally published in one volume, but at the request of numerous readers I have now divided them into two, of which the present, on inorganic Chemistry, is the first. The second volume, on organic chemistry, is nearly ready for the press, and will shortly be published.
