Hi, I’m Brendon Leigh. This is my book written to be completely honest on what it took for me to achieve my dream of winning two Formula One Sim Racing World Championships. I come from a broken home. My mother was an alcoholic, my father was abusive and I was a mess. Self doubt rattled me to my core. I have written this book to be transparent on what it took to achieve my dreams, and the life lessons I’ve learnt in the process of time. This book isn’t written to celebrate trophies, wins or happy times, it’s written to be a raw reflection of how I felt, how I reacted and what I’ve learnt.
I hope this book can serve as an opportunity for others to learn anything, hopefully to never make the same mistakes I did. I’m not perfect, and I won’t pretend to be. But, if a mistake I’ve made can help even one person, then I will be extremely happy
Please be aware, although it’s very limited. There are a handful of swear words written into this book, they have only been used in appropriate situations to tell exactly what I was thinking in that particular moment. With that being said, I wanted to warn you ahead of time, as not everyone is keen on extreme language.
