Description
When I re-entered the military service, in the fall of 1861, I be came possessed of two hobbies; one, that of Writing the history of my regiment, and the other, to have a monument erected to the memory Of those who might fall in action, or die of wounds or dis ease, which I hope to be able to carry out some time in the future. The former has been accomplished in the following pages while nearly enough money has been raised to build the latter.
