Description
Excerpt from God Is Love
These chapters first appeared some four years since, published as a serial in one of our weekly religious journals. Since that time, the writer has never ceased to receive requests that they be put in some more perma~ nent form. This little book is the result. The author is very sensible of its imperfections and limitations.
Of the many subjects touched, not one is treated exhaustively, but all are only used for the moment, as God uses the sunset clouds, or the snow on the mountain's summit, merely to re?ect to darkened eyes, low down in the valley, the glory of his goodness.
Born of the heart, it is humbly hoped these words may speak to the heart; and that some poor souls, driven by doubt and wandering wearily because of sin, may behold here re vealed the mystic ladder leading from the Bethel stone of their present hunger and loneliness to the light and warmth and plenty of the Father's House.
