In Anbetracht der fragmentarischen Gestalt der Legen den und der kurzen Zeit, die seit ihrer Entdeckung ver?ossen, bin ich weit davon entfernt, diese meine Bearbeitung f?r eine mehr als provisorische ansehen zu wollen. Aber das Verlangen, die neuen Funde ?bersetzt zu sehen, war ein so allgemeines, dass ich die Ver?ffentlichung nicht l?nger hinausschieben wollte, und so hoffe ich denn, dass die Ueber setzungen, wie ich sie mit Vorbehalt gebe, auch mit Vorbehalt aufgenommen werden m?gen.
