Description
Excerpt from Galateo: Or, a Treatise on Politeness and Delicacy of Manners

But there are many habits which people contract in their youth, and which, tri?ing as they may appear, often lead them into considerable inconveniencies. They are, perhaps, of such a nature, as their parents or preceptors are too indolent to correct, or too tender to shock them with or perhaps, may think them too tri?ing to be made the object of admonition and such as strangers.
