The magnificent foundations of Christ''s Hospital and Birmingham Grammar School, and the numerous Edward VI. Grammar Schools which stud the country, would rise up before his mind, and he would give the credit of them to their reputed founder. Even to those people who credit William of Wykeham with the foundation of our public School system in founding Winchester, and credit Henry VIII. With the cathedral schools, such as the King''s School, Canterbury, Edward VI. Still stands out as par excellence the founder of schools and patron saint of industrious schoolboys.
