Description
When the Germans were thrown back in the first battle of the Marne in 1914, the line stabilized in Champagne about halfway between Souain (5 kilometers north of Suippes) and somme-py. It passed through Navarin Farm and it was in this Vicinity that the 215t Corps of the Fourth French Army attacked when the meuse-ar gonne operation started on September 26.
