Aristotelis opera omnia quamquam non raro edita sunt, tamen dici non potest, quot vitus scripturae tra latieiae repleta fuerint, quales sordes depravationis per seculorum deoursum traxerint, doneo lmmanuelis Bek keri perpurgandi diligentia et admirabilis prudentia aut manum Aristotelis aut certe Aristotele non indignam restituit (e. Gr. 691b 28 - 695a Antea quidem Schneideri Saxonis opera libri de historia animalium novam paene faciem induerant, quae ad veram ac ge nuinam prope acoederet; quos libros qua sagacitate ille maximus philologorum physicus interpretatus sit, nolo nunc laudibus celebrare, id quod feeerunt ante me et facient semper naturae serutatores. Illis enim quae habebat subsidns oriticis ea qua par erat diligentia in usum vocatis id potissimum egerat, ut perpetuo respectu habito earum rerum, quarum observationi postea Bek kerus plurimum in crisi Aristotelea tribuit, quae sunt sententiae sanitas, verborum ordo et eoniunctio, Aristo telea dicendi ratio, illorum librorum ingentes ac prope inexplicabiles visas difficultates expediret, etiam Stagi fitam ipsum saepius corrigeret. Sed alios ad zoologiam, quae vocatur, pertinentes libros ne in lueem ederet, humanae vitae fines prohibuerunt. Quorum in numero diu intacti iacuerunt libri IV de partibus animalium.
