Though I am aware that its success is not a little owing to the taste and skill of the Publisher, and to the artistic excellence of the illustrations, yet it shows, also, an increasing love, throughout our land, of the beauties of nature, and an increasing interest, I trust, in His works, who has given to nature so many instructive charms.
