This is all I propose to say about my Art. I feel I have done well in mentioning the subject, however, because, although I am a novice in litera ture, I have read much, and I know that the principal duty of a story-teller is to tell the reader about himself. I may add, I ought to add, one other fact to the biographical notes already Offered: I forgot to state that my humorous hypocrite is now a creature of the past.
