The purpose of this brief outline, which is neither history nor biography, and yet seeks to be more than a directory, is to make each living member of the tribe know something more of his kin dred, who they are, and where they may be found, and to enable and encourage each one, when traveling, to seek out his relatives. He will find them to be persons of whom he need not be ashamed, intelligent and useful citizens, with enough of old-time hospitality and feeling of kinship to give him a hearty welcome.
