The writer wishes to thank Mr. Neil M. Judd, director Of the National Geographic Society's Pueblo Bonito Expedition, who con tributed in no small measure to the success of the summer's investiga tions by sharing his camp as well as transportation equipment with the Bureau of American Ethnology Expedition. Because of this kindness and whole-hearted cooperation much more was accomplished than would have been possible had the maintenance of a separate camp been necessary.
