Description

“Unleashing your creative imagination can open possibilities and opportunities that simply didn’t previously exist in your awareness”

This isn’t an ordinary journal - not just lines or blank pages - so here are a few suggestions on how you could use it.

At the top of every left hand page you will find a line for the date - one of the great things about journaling is you get to see where you were and how far you have come, so it’s always good to put a date on everything you write.

Below the date line is a handy box which you could use for:
1. a thought for the day
2. a goal for the day
3. an inspirational quote
4. your focus or intention for that day or session
5. a title or heading
6. an affirmation

On the right edge of this box is a small circle, which you could:
1. colour in (perhaps based on how you are feeling or what colour has been prominent for you today)
2. write a number (perhaps a number that you’ve seen cropping up a lot)
3. turn it into a smiley face to reflect how you are feeling
4. write a letter (grade yourself on how your day went, what you’ve achieved or how you are feeling)
5. make it into the moon to show the current phase

The tracker bar on the left edge of the page could be used to:
1. show your progress towards a goal or target
2. indicate how in (or out) of balance you feel. For example, work/life, physical/emotional
3. colour in to suit your mood

On the bottom of the left page and the top of the right page there is blank space. You could use this for any of the following, (or, indeed, anything else that pops in to your mind):
1. draw a picture, or just doodle
2. jot down some wishes, or things you are grateful for
3. capture your top learnings from the day
4. add daily goals or a ‘to do’ list
5. add any notes that come to mind
6. summarise your day
7. create a mini mind-map to help order your thoughts
8. create a mini vision board

Unusually, you will also find the pages are numbered. This can be handy if you want to refer to something that you’ve written about previously. So, you might make a note such as - “for more of my brilliant ideas see pages 6,7,9, and 10 through 15”

These are just a few of the ideas that we have come up with, but this is your journal - your rules - so have fun creating it the way you want.

If you are new to journaling, it can be a great way to engage with your creative potential, clarify your goals, monitor your progress in any area of your life, and provide insights that can help keep you on track and propel you to greater things.

Always remember the most important thing is to have fun and create in a way that feels good to you. Make this a valuable resource that you will want to look back on for years to come.

Happy journaling!
