Description
Robert Demans was born about the year 1829, and took the degree of m.a. At Edinburgh University in 1850. He was a schoolmaster successively at Aberfeldy, Alnwick, and Aberdeen; but, having been ordained in 1860, he came to London in 1865 as Senior Curate of St. Luke''s, Chelsea, where he remained until his death. For the last few years of his life he also acted as Principal of White lands Training College.
