Description
Excerpt from Hidden Works of Darkness: Or, the Doings of the Jesuits
The following work is the substance of a series of papers in The Churchman''s Monthly Review, which are reprinted at the request of several of the readers of that publication. It is the result of some re search in a part of our history which is much spoken of, but, it is to be feared, little studied at present; should it prove useful, in however humble a measure, to the cause of Protestantism, my labour will.
