Description
Excerpt from The Reed Genealogy, Vol. 1: Descendants of William Reade, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, From 1635 to 1902
It may be inferred from the foregoing that William Reade was permitted to take his seat in that body at once, and while his name does not appear among the list of those in attend ance at that session, this may be accounted for by the fact that he was admitted after the, opening of the Court. He is recorded as being present at the next assembling of the General Court,'' on December 8, 1636.
