Ueber die bremischen Munzen erschien bereits 1772 eine Abhandlung von Johann Philipp Cassel, Prof. Philos. Und Lehrer am ehemaligen Gymnasium hierselbst, unter dem Titel „vollständiges Bremisches münz-cabinet, 2 Bände, welche die Münzen selbst, namentlich die grösseren, in ziemlicher Vollständigkeit anführt, dagegen in den Beschreibungen derselben häufig nicht genau ist, über die Münzgeschichte nur Bruchstücke giebt und endlich der Abbildungen entbehrt.
