The diversity of police institutions worldwide has always caught my attention due to the very important work they perform for the good of society. However, in a way, I was also incited about why there are so many different processes to carry out police duties on the promotion of peace and to ensuring the maintenance of public order and security in all its aspects, through preventive policing, patrolling, criminal investigation, intelligence service, control of civil disturbances, community policing, repression, among many other methods of police responsibilities. During my carrier as a police officer, I had several opportunities to work on police cooperation projects in my home country and broad. Those partnerships provided me with a valuable connection and professional/personal skills (including lifetime friends). Working with police officers of more than 50 nationalities at the international system, enriched my knowledge directly from the numerous primary sources that were part of my networking. With this privileged advantage, I decided to collect important data on police agencies by interviewing some peers who served with me as other international professionals, many of whom I met in service relationships and on personal trips.
