Since 1844 the Author has been writing articles on Bees and their management for various Journals, but it was not before 1848 that he published his first book, entitled Theory and Practice of the New Bee Friend, which was followed in 1852 by an appendix. From 1854 to 1856 he published a monthly journal, The Silesian bee-friend, and in 1861 his last work, Rational Bee keeping. The latest edition, 1878, contains in a condensed form all the experience and improve ments which are to be found scattered in the works previously mentioned.
