She was then induced to enter the Presbyterian Hospital for an operation. She entered the hospital on March 21 and was observed in the surgical ward for five days, during which time her attacks continued. They were uniformly like the ones already described, being distinctly limited to the left side of the body, beginning in the left hand and arm, and involving the left leg, but not the face.
