Students requiring or desiring instruction in Ophthalmology divide themselves into four main groups, namely, (a) The medical undergraduates; (b) The general practitioners who desire to take up the practice Of Ophthalmology; (c) The prae ticing Ophthalmologists who desire to make up deficiencies in their training; (d) The recent medical graduates who desire to qualify themselves for the practice of Ophthalmology. I shall discuss the problems relating to the instruction Of each of these groups in order.
