Description
Recently a British report% described a method for calculating the roots of equations of the fifth and sixth degree. One disadvantage of the preposed method is that, at each step, it requires the solution of a quadratic equation.
This report presents a simple, general method for finding the complex roots of any polynomial equation.
All the operations can be easily performed on a calculating machine.
