Description
Excerpt from The Village Photographer
Silas stone - Middle-aged and slightly stoop-shouldered, dignified but always friendly and sympathetic. Is neatly but shabbily dressed in a dark suit, well worn.
Martha selby - A well-dressed young woman carrying a baby, the latter to be a large doll or any large bundle wrapped in a shawl to give the desired effect. She is pale and unhappy looking when she enters, but quite cheered up when she leaves.
Zeph barker - Middle - aged man, with crusty manner and hard-set face until silas betrays him into smiling and revealing his goodness of heart. Rather dressed up.
