Description
Excerpt from Mediumistic Experiences of John Brown, the Medium of the Rockies: With Introduction and Notes
You speak of my good friend, John Brown, Sr. He is a ''dyed-in the-wool'' Spiritualist. One of the oldest in the place. He has been a medium for years. Indeed, long before the Rochester raps, he was a trapper in the Rocky Mountains; and his fellow-trappers we! E about to kill him for a wizard. A spirit used to tell him everything about to happen. If I had the time I would write you an account of one of his mediumistic works in Los Angeles, which was of a most marvel ous character. Some of the evidences of it are now in the medical college in San Francisco. He is stopping at present, forty miles from town, or you would most likely have additional subscribers through his in?uence.
