Bongo Sunn, the drummer of Blighty’s favourite beat group,
The Bumbles, decides to publicise their latest single, All You Need Is Fun, by riding a pantomime horse in Aintree’s Grand National horse race.
That very evening the group is due to perform at an open air concert within Aintree Racecourse’s grounds, where they’ll have a bash at performing their thought to be unperformable LP, Major Onion’s Snails For Teatime Band, a work riddled with such otherworldly songs as, Brucie In The Sky With Biplanes, the initials of which, some raving nincompoops consider, might possibly relate to The Bumbles continuing use of brown sauce butties.
This audaciously fab album concludes with the brilliantly intoxicating track, A Day In The Pub.
But how did they arrive at this point in their career?
Why does Queen Lizzy chase after them brandishing a sword?
Why were some Americans offended when Joe Lemon, the pithy one, told them to, ‘Get Knotted!’?
