Be with the family of the Member who is sorely afflicted; restore him, we pray Thee, to health and strength that he may pursue the useful walks of life. Keep us all and our dear ones close to Thee in the faith and hope of Thy ruling and overruling Providence. In the spirit of the Lord Christ. Amen.
Mr. Hamilton of Michigan. Mr. Speaker, information has just been received, through the War Department, of the death of Hon. William W. Wedemeyer by drowning. Mr. Wedemeyer was returning from the Canal Zone. Some time later I shall ask the House to set a time for paying tribute to the life, character, and public services of the deceased. Meanwhile I offer the following reso lutions, which I send to the Clerk''s desk.
