In speaking of my four religious teach ers, I have not here included my mother nor my Sunday-school teachers. Yet my earliest religious instruction and impres sions were given by them, and to this day I am grateful for the permanent in ?uence of their words and spirit. Neither have I included my earlier pastors, to whom I am permanently indebted.
