Zu einem Komponisten oder Kapellmeister wiirde Mahler wohl anders gesprochen haben. Doch sprach er hier immer; hin zu einer Frau, die als Musikerin selber tätig war, der Musik Beruf, nicht nur Erwerb bedeutete.
