The past runs from an old oak and an old lamp post of the kind early players aimed at to a faded old disc, a rusted old basket, an old timber tee, a weathered fence, a wooden footbridge and a farm barn.

Short notes run through the book, on the rules and the way the game is played, the discs and baskets and how they are made, and the history of the sport: each hole begins on a tee, often a long flat pad of concrete set into the ground, the hanging chains slow a flying disc and drop it into the open basket below, colour is mixed into the plastic before moulding, so it runs right through each disc, and discs that glow in the dark, and small lights on the baskets, let rounds go on after nightfall.

Printed in full colour on heavy 150gsm coated paper at 216 x 279 mm (8.5 x 11 inches), as a hardcover with the art printed on the case.
