Fisherman’s Blues

    By

Jack’s been cut off the dole in Ballinrobe and now he’s working for a gangster in Galway called Frank Rowland, selling Bulgarian villas that might not exist. He has no qualms because he needs the money to keep drinking. He meets Dyane and things are going well but then something unexpected happens.

Nikki Henson is Frank Rowland’s daughter but now she’s gone missing. Dave’s the enforcer and he’s working hard to find her, but not having much luck. Maybe Tycho has her? Tycho’s into drugs and Black Masses but he’s not that smart.

Kohlia’s having visions and she claims she met God. She gets moved up the country and is never seen again. They say she was “disturbed.”

Fisherman’s Blues is the hilarious new novel from Mick Donnellan. Dark and audacious, written in a distinct West of Ireland vernacular, it’s guaranteed to have you laughing the whole way through.
