Win Christmas Book Hamper

Congratulations to the winner Emma Mernagh!

    The Great British Christmas Hamper!

As a new independent online book shop which was launched earlier in 2014, here at The Great British Book Shop we strongly believe in supporting and championing independent UK publishers of all sizes.  Our aim is to work in partnership with publishers whilst supporting new and upcoming authors, to grow the diversity of excellent publishing and promote reading in the UK.

To celebrate our first Christmas we have been working with some very generous publishers and top British brands to put together  ‘The Great British Christmas Hamper’

In addition to top selling autobiographies from Stephen Fry, Graham Norton, Clare Balding, Cilla and the touching story of John & George, the winner will also receive a copy of  the Pickling Handbook, jammed with ideas for any kitchen and The Great British Bake Off - Christmas which is packed full of recipes and cooking tips for the holiday season. Worth over £350.00 this literary hamper includes a selection of this year’s top selling books, along with some wonderful gifts from big British brands that we hope will make the lucky winner's Christmas a little extra special!

    Terry Pratchett signed novel

We have also been lucky enough to include a copy of The Wee Free Men, a novel from the Discworld series which has been signed by the author Sir Terry Pratchett and also the series illustrator Paul Kidby.

Accompanying these wonderful literary gifts is a fabulous selection of quality handpicked teas, a pair of mugs and a lovely glass tea pot from teapigs. We are also including a year's subscription to Kitchen Garden Magazine which would make a wonderful gift for any green fingered gardener! And a hamper choc full (sorry) of tasty treats from Hotel Chocolat, including flavours such as Choc Chip Cookie and for the braver tasters a Chilli Praline selection!
