Vintage knitwear patterns from the 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s are brought together in this beautifully stylised book to offer a fresh take on classic patterns, all Vintage Knit also contains a summary of knitting and crochet techniques, equipment and abbreviations, as well as UK and US terminology and hook and needle size charts. A list of online resources also makes this an invaluable book for the confident knitter.
“This book proves that hand-made knitwear can be relevant, youthful, fun and stylish. Shot in a modern context, it’s aimed at a new generation of knitters who are looking for something stylish to suit them, a reason to find hand-knitting fresh and exciting, despite the age of the original patterns.” - Geraldine Warner
