Paddington Bear at The Great British book Shop

    Paddington Bear

The most famous bear ever to emerge from the jungles of darkest Peru, Paddington Bear, made his first journey as a polite stowaway in the Autumn of 1958 and his adventures have captured the imaginations of adults and children the world over ever since.

Paddington is now thought of as a 'Very British Bear’ and his classic blue duffle coat, old red hat and rather battered suitcase (containing half a jar of marmalade) have become almost as famous as the bear himself.

Paddington Bear is making his big screen debut this in November 2014 with the release of the film aptly and simply named 'Paddington', as - let's face it - he needs no other introduction.

To celebrate the long-awaited big screen release, we put together a collection our favourite Paddington titles new and old for you browse and we hope you enjoy reading them as much as we do!
