How to get the best from this journal

The concept of this journal is simple and pretty self explanatory. You can use it however you are drawn to but to get the most out of it we suggest you look at it as soon as you wake up to see what the intention is for you to do or be that day, then at sometime later or at bedtime, once you’ve done the thing you intended to in order to raise your vibration, pick the journal up again and write down what you did, along with any insights, thoughts or feelings. 

Keywords
You will see there is a column for keywords and an affirmation. One suggestion of how you might use this column is to note any positive keywords that come up during the day and then create an affirmation out of those keywords.

Affirmations
Affirmations are important because they can help rewire your brain and clear negative thought patterns that may be holding you back. By focusing on, and repeating, positive, present moment phrases (aka affirmations ) you can start to shift your mindset and cultivate a more positive experience of life.

The goal of using affirmations is to train the mind to think and believe in a more positive and empowering way. By repeating affirmations, you can create new neural pathways in the brain and ultimately change your thought patterns and beliefs. This can lead to improved mental, emotional & physical wellbeing and can help you to manifest your goals and desires.

Creating and saying your own personal affirmations for what you would like to be feeling or achieving at any given time can totally change the way you perceive, feel and experience life. The process of creation can be truly enlightening and can get you tuned in more deeply allowing you to naturally expand your consciousnesses. 

So try coming up with your own affirmations that are specific to your daily insights and positive keywords. Make sure when creating your affirmation that it is in the present tense as if already ‘real’.

For example:-
- “I am confident, strong and capable”
- “I embrace healthy relationships” 
- “I love and forgive myself”

If there is a particular affirmation you wish to ‘become’ then we recommend saying it regularly for 30 consecutive days so that the subconscious has a chance to accept it as true and integrate it into your being. 

Watch for any resistance you experience when saying your affirmations. Sometimes new empowering affirmations clash with old limiting beliefs. If resistance arises, don’t fight it, just be aware of it and allow it to pass. As you go through your day look for any evidence (no matter how small) of your new affirmation/belief in action. Make a note of it in your journal under the ‘What I noticed’ section. 

In this way you allow your new affirmation/belief to become your actual experience of yourself or the world. Then, watch how your vibration shifts and life changes for the better!
